Up to 7 inches, a full reel and a nearly empty one cost exactly the same — footage does not come into it. Only reels larger than 7 inches across are counted as two items.

2 · We digitize it
We run every reel start to finish, repair and splice damaged film — up to two splices a reel are included — trim the blank stretches, and name each file from the label on the reel.
3 · Enjoy it anywhere
Stream, share and download from the Cloud, or take a USB drive or a disc set. Every original reel comes back to you.

One reel is one item at any size. Mix in tapes, discs, photos and slides if you like — every 25 photos, slides or negatives counts as one item.
Common questions
Only past 7 inches. Any reel up to 7 inches across is one item whatever footage is on it, so a full 7 inch reel and a small 3 inch one cost the same. A reel larger than 7 inches counts as two items.

We repair it before digitizing. Up to two splices per reel are included at no extra cost, which covers most damaged film. A reel needing more than two splices calls for advanced repair and an additional fee. We also trim the blank stretches so your file is the footage and nothing else.
We run every reel from beginning to end to be sure. If one turns out to be completely blank we tell you and you get a credit for the item.
Yes. Wherever a reel carries a label we use it as the file name, so a reel marked Christmas 1979 comes back as a file called Christmas 1979.
Often, yes. Eclipse AI Enhancement restores color, corrects fading and recovers detail, and upscales as far as 1080p. You get the untouched version as well as the enhanced one.
Two to six weeks for standard processing, depending on the size of your order. Processing upgrades are available on the Customer Card in your kit.
