Took a while, but the result was very good. I was completely surprised by what was on tape but still loved the result. In retrospect, I should have mentioned my thoughts to Digitize upfront - my bad,
I had a few old VHS tapes and DVDs and cassettes, just gathering dust in the draw. I wanted to be able to enjoy them again but didn’t have the right devices. I used the digitize center and they made the process so smooth and easy. I felt a bit odd, sending off all of the materials - in case anything happened to them. But they took such good care of them and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I’m so happy with this service and highly recommend it.
Need more space on cloud to better organize the videos
Some slides had visual artifacts that weren’t on the original slide (not on all so I assume that the slide scanners aren’t dust-free/there is no visual Q/A).
Cassette tapes were digitized without checking levels per cassette, so some of the digital files were distorted, even after being re-digitized with a limiter applied.
Overall, I wouldn’t choose to use this service again, as there is no attention to quality of digitization.
Very happy with the results and the customer service. It was all quite easy. Disappointed, however, that my mother singing a solo in 1930 or so doesn't seem to be here for some reason.
The Digitize Center delivered every promise, I'm glad I chose them to preserve a variety of old videos that I had in different formats. Some of them 40-50 years old. Their image enhancing upgrade is worth every penny. I highly recommend them.

We converted all our camcorder videos onto flash drives. Those flash drives contain many of our family memories- kids growing up, trips, events, and family that is no longer with us. The Digitize Center preserves that family history in an easily organized format. I recommend working with the Digitize Center- easy to work with and a great way to preserve those precious memories.

As a 1st time user, we were pleased with the outcome and we were enjoying seeing these memories. We plan on submitting more videos for digitizing. The only downside was the time it took to get them processed. Otherwise we were happy.
I was so happy with the images. I did the AI enhanced and it was worth the extra money.
For a few years I have been looking for a service that would digitize home movies that were on DVDs. Most services only handle VHS tapes, 8 MM film, etc. The Digitize Center advertised that they would also digitize CD content to MP4 files. I have nearly 100 DVDS (full size or mini-DVDs) that hold 30 years of family movies. So I picked four of the mini-DVDs and created an order to have digitized. The order was submitted August 28 and I received the shipment with my original min-DVDs and a thumb drive with all my .MP4 files on October 27, so it was a 2 month turnaround process. All the MP4 files came out good. The total order ended up costing $88 so about $22 per DVD. Larger orders get better rates, but this is not an inexpensive process. So if you make sure ahead of time that the material you want converted is worth both the time and expense it takes to do it, then you'll be satisfied.
