Managed to get alot of intact footage back from the dead, saved to a thumbdrive. Quality of transfer was equal to what was originally on the tapes (30-yr old VHS-C with a cheap camera). Well worth the cost. Did appreciate the periodic updates on progress. Highly recommend.

They did what I needed them to do. I had couple mini DVD-R disks that Legacybox could not digitize. They returned my completed order quickly. No BS like I got from the other company.
The service was excellent. I had 11 microcassettes transferred to a thumb drive. When I listened to the digital versions, the sound was distorted on three of the cassettes. I called to notify The Digitize Center of the problem and they quickly reviewed the faulty cassettes, fixed the problem and put them in the cloud so I could immediately access them at no extra cost.
I was extremely satisfied with my choice in choosing the Digitize Center. I had tried another company before them, and they were unable to recover some mini DVDs that I had. This company not only recovered them, but had them done in time for Christmas (much faster than the estimated window). We were able to watch them as a family on Christmas Eve!! Thank you, thank you!!! I will def be using again.

After cancelling my order with another company that would not convert my mini-DVDs I found The Digitize Center who accepted all of my media (tape and mini-DVDs) and quickly converted everything to a single useful format. I highly recommend The Digitize Center and will use them again!
cassette tapes from 40 years ago were cleaned up well. Reel to reel from 60 years ago were garbled, but probably the best they could do with them

I got all 13 Christmas CDs/CDRs converted to the Cloud and onto a USB drive. This is due to the fact that modern vehicles don't have CD players anymore and I always listened to Christmas music while driving when there were CD players in your vehicle. The sound quality is crisp and clear on USB and Cloud. Nothing is lost from the conversion. The company did a great job.
I was impressed with the quality of service, and the quick turn-around. I sent several types of slides and videos -- some were over 70 years old -- they were my father's and I had no idea what was in them! I paid extra for faster turn around time. They were very good communicating throughout the process and the whole process took less than a month. The quality on the cd's sound is muffled and sometimes hard to understand. However the cassettes were old so maybe they are good for the sound they retrieved off the tape cassettes. Given my experience with this company I would give them the benefit of doubt. That is to say, the cassette tapes may have sounded awful and they cleaned up the sound, so the muffled sound is probably an improvement over the cassette.
