When your order is complete, all of your digitized memories will be in a format that can play on any device, including your computer, smartphone, tablet, and smart TV. For your smartphone, your memories will save nicely on your smartphone and be easy to view and share. However, the tricky part is getting them on there in the first place.
Fortunately, with Digital Cloud Access as your output choice, the process of getting them on your smartphone is extremely easy and can be accomplished with one click.
*Before putting your digitized memories on your smartphone, verify that you have enough storage space to hold them. If not, consider signing up for Digital Memory Backup so you will not need to worry about space.
- Open the Cloud Ready email you received from us on your smartphone.
- Tap on the access link in the email.
- Your Cloud will either open in your web browser or in the Dropbox app. Depending upon which smartphone you have, you may be required to download the Dropbox app. (Downloading and signing up for Dropbox is completely free. You DO NOT need to pay for any Dropbox plans.)
- While viewing your cloud, tap on the Download button. Your smartphone will download all your memories if it has the required storage space.
- Once the download is complete, your files will be saved on your smartphone, and will likely be in the My Files or Files app. You can open them in there and move them to your Photos app or Gallery app.
If you cannot download your memories, then it is either because your smartphone does not have enough storage space or you need to install the Dropbox app.
If you do not have Digital Cloud Access, then it might be difficult to transfer your memories to your smartphone. You will likely need to work with your smartphone's native file-sharing features, and do a manual transfer from your computer to your phone. Check with the manual of your smartphone on how to do this.
