We understand the safety and protection of your precious memories are of the upmost importance, and that it can be a little nerve-wracking to ship those memories when they may be the only copy you have. Rest assured, we take every precaution at our disposal to make sure your media items remain safe from the moment they leave your possession, to the moment you receive them back.
To date, we have not lost or misplaced a single customer's package, and that includes during transit. Not one. We take extra steps to make sure your items are never lost, including using high priority level shipping services that are checked in frequently and move through transit very quickly.
Is it possible that a shipment could be lost during transit? Yes, anything is possible. Thankfully, it is has NEVER happened with us and we plan to keep that spotless record.
There are extra steps you can take as well to make sure your shipment is safe:
- Inspect the shipping box that contains your Digitize Kit before you send it back to us. If there is any significant damage, let us know and we will send you a new one.
- Always make sure the shipping box is fully secured with packaging tape before you send it back to us.
- Make sure the return label is firmly seated on the shipping box for its return journey. In rare instances, the label may peel due to fluctuations in temperature. If this happens, use some tape to secure the label onto the shipping box for added protection.
- If you drop your return package off at a local USPS, FedEx, or UPS, be sure to get a receipt so you know that it has been checked in.
Doing the above steps may not be necessary, but they add even more protection to your shipment. Like we said before, we have NEVER lost a package, and we plan to keep it that way.
